How to Approach This Practice
When you begin working with the Three Bows, do not try to force your posture into what you think it should look like. Instead, allow your body to settle naturally and observe what happens when you bring your attention to each of the Three Bows.
The aim is not to achieve perfect posture. It is to become more aware of how your body is organised, where you are holding unnecessary tension and where you may be losing support through relaxation.
As you practise, you may notice that some areas of the body collapse when you try to relax, while other areas continue to work harder than necessary. You may also experience moments when the body suddenly feels more connected, balanced or supported without any deliberate effort.
These observations are an important part of the practice. Rather than trying to correct everything immediately, begin by noticing what you can feel and allowing your awareness to develop through regular practice.
This is where the process of internal training begins.
