Your Weekly Training

Monday & Saturday Classes for Every Level of Mastery

At Ptah Khi School, we offer two opportunities for training each week—Monday and Saturday classes—to accommodate all levels of practitioners.

Saturday Class

The Saturday class is divided into two levels:

  • Beginner Level

9.30am to 11am (Open to Everyone)

  • Intermediate/Advanced Level

    11.30am to 1pm (Invitation only)

This separation allows for focused training at each level. Beginners will work on mastering foundational principles, while intermediate and advanced students will have the space to refine techniques, deepen understanding, and explore more complex aspects of Tai Chi and Chi Kung. This division ensures that everyone, regardless of skill level, can progress at their own pace while still being part of a larger community.

Monday Class
  • All Levels

6.30pm to 8pm (Open to Everyone)

On Mondays, we invite all students to join a unified class. This provides an opportunity for practitioners of all levels to train together, fostering a sense of community and shared growth. Whether you’re new to the practice or more experienced, these classes encourage mutual support, allowing beginners to gain inspiration from seasoned practitioners, while more advanced students can solidify their skills and develop new insights.

By separating the Saturday classes based on experience level and coming together on Monday, we maintain a balance of progression and cohesion across the school. This ensures that every practitioner has the right amount of challenge and support at all stages of their journey.

First Saturday of Every Month
Special Training Sessions

On the first Saturday of every month, all students; beginners, intermediate, and advanced, come together for a special training session. These sessions foster unity within the school, allowing students of all levels to practice together, exchange insights, and strengthen the community bond. When grading takes place, these Saturdays are dedicated to workshops on special topics or grading.

  • All Levels

9.30am to 1pm (Open to Everyone)

Before Class

Arriving a few minutes early helps you center yourself and prepare mentally for the session ahead. This time allows you to set a clear intention for your practice, such as improving balance, releasing tension, or deepening your understanding of a specific technique.

Preparation Tips

  • Set an intention

What do you want to focus on during class?

  • Clear your mind

Let go of distractions and approach your practice with an open heart.

  • Warm up

Light stretches or breathing exercises can help prepare your body for movement.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows freedom of movement. Bring an attitude of curiosity and a willingness to learn, no matter your experience level.

During Class

Each class starts with grounding and mobilization exercises, then progresses into one of the Four Paths of Ptah Khi Growth and Mastery. The session concludes with a cool down and meditation or discussion, to integrate the practice and promote balance.

After Class

After class, take time to reflect on what you’ve learned and how it applies to your daily life. Reflection is a vital part of the learning process, helping you internalize lessons and recognize your growth areas.

What to do after class:

  • Journal

Write down insights or observations from the session.

  • Reflect

Meditate or sit quietly to allow the teachings to settle within you.

  • Plan for growth

Identify aspects of your practice to refine or explore further.

Growth extends beyond the classroom. Consistent practice, self-reflection, and a willingness to integrate what you’ve learned into daily life will amplify the benefits of Tai Chi and Chi Kung.
