About Course

The Three Bows in Chi Kung, comprising the Leg Bow, Arm Bow and Spinal Bow, provide a foundational framework for developing structure, balance and whole-body connection during practice.

Each Bow describes a different aspect of how the body can organise itself through the relationship between the feet, legs, spine, arms and torso. Rather than creating rigid positions, the Three Bows encourage a balance between support and relaxation, allowing the body to remain stable while also being responsive and adaptable.

In this course, you will learn how to recognise, develop and integrate each of the Three Bows through practical exercises and guided standing practices. You will explore how structure, relaxation, breathing and awareness can work together to create a more connected experience of the body.

The course will then take you beyond the individual Bows towards their integration as a whole, introducing the principle of Four Become One and the developing awareness of All From the One.

The emphasis throughout the course is on direct experience. You will learn not simply what the Three Bows are, but how to recognise and apply these principles within your own Chi Kung practice.
