About Course

Calm in Minutes
Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Breathing and Meditation for Everyday Wellbeing

Calm in Minutes is a free introductory course designed to help you explore simple, practical ways of supporting everyday wellbeing. Through gentle Tai Chi and Chi Kung-inspired movement, breathing, mindfulness and meditation, you will explore the relationship between the body, breath, thoughts, feelings and attention, and how greater awareness can become part of your everyday life.

Designed for beginners, the course requires no previous experience of Tai Chi, Chi Kung or meditation. You will be guided through five practical lessons, with opportunities to learn, listen, practise and reflect as you progress. The course takes approximately 60 minutes to complete and includes three guided audio practices, each available with or without music, together with a simple five-minute practice that you can continue using beyond the course.

You are not expected to make your mind completely quiet or feel calm every time you practise. Instead, the course encourages you to notice your experience, work at your own pace and discover which practices are useful for you. Calm in Minutes is an educational wellbeing course. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure anxiety, depression or any other medical or mental health condition, and it does not replace professional healthcare or psychological support.

No previous experience is required, and the course is completely free.

Take a few minutes for yourself. Learn something new, try the practices and discover what works for you.
